About Me

I just want to make things.  I don't call myself a "crafter"--that makes me sound like an old woman painting wooden figurines or making floral arrangements with fake flowers she bought from Michael's. Instead, I'd call myself "craftacular!" I love to put my own personal touch (aka rhinestones, sequins, feathers, fabrics, etc.) on anything--from notebooks and file folders to aprons, shoes, picture frames and my nails!  I love color--every room in our house is vibrantly decorated; walls are painted purple, red, blue, green, and pink! 

I live and breathe all things FASHION, which is why working for the Dean of the School of Design at an art school is great, but after the craziness in the interior design and fashion departments has died down, I need another creative outlet.  That's where Presh Studios comes in.  Presh Studios is an umbrella for all things I make/do: from bedazzled notebooks, wall art, pr/marketing, restyling and re-purposing clothes and other items, creating prints & stationary, and, yummy eats! 

This blog, Musings of Presh Studios is a place where I can show my craftacular thought process, post pictures of projects and/or inspirations, as well as a place for me to  write down FF's (fun facts) and other fodder I've come across while flipping through my 13 issues of monthly magazines, playing on Pinterest, surfing countless sites and blogs, or just an experience from my daily life.
