Alexander McQueen ornaments
I made these ornaments as gifts for fashiony friends and coworkers this past Christmas (2010). The shoes pay homage to the late Alexander McQueen: they're inspired by his "Alien" and "Armadillo" shoes shown in his Spring 2010 runway show, and of course, worn by Lady Gaga.

Genius Ideas: The Shops at Target
The Shops at Target--a partnership with boutiques/specialty shops to create limited edition collections to be sold exclusively in Target stores and target.com. I think this is brilliant marketing on Target's behalf! They are going for a more personal approach with this latest collaboration. Their tagline is: these are “the shops we stumbled upon and couldn’t help but fall in love with.”
The Shops at Target will launch May 6th and products will only be available for 6 weeks. The Shops' first run, they've hand-selected
The Webster (apparel and accessories from Miami)
Cos Bar (beauty products from Aspen)
Privet House (decor and home accessories form Connecticut)
The Candy Store (sweets from San Francisco)
Polka Dog Bakery (dog toys and treats from Boston)
Together, these five collections will have 400 exclusive products! And the best part is, their affordable prices range from $1 to $160!!
